Nick is our Australasia Architecture Leader, focusing on growth through strengthening our teams, maximising project quality to meet market needs, creating value for our clients and end users alike.

Nick has worked with Arup for nearly 10 years in the United Kingdom, working on several high-profile sports architecture and transport projects and returned to Australia in 2018 to lead and establish our architecture practice in Australia. Over the past few years, he has grown and nurtured a high-performing team while working on many city-shaping projects across Victoria.

Having worked in various architectural roles on projects worldwide and now focussing on Australasia, Nick brings global insights and best practices to projects, fusing knowledge across disciplines and geographies. His technical background in architecture and experience designing for large-scale complex projects spanning the whole project lifecycle and across sports, transport and infrastructure enables him to work across industries and lead teams with diverse skill sets.

He is particularly passionate about delivering projects that push the boundaries and provide quality and excellence outcomes to the end users, stakeholders, and clients of our projects. Themes of accessibility, connectivity and sustainable thinking run across his projects.

Nick’s projects include the Evelyn Grace Academy, Khalifa Tennis Centre, Tokyo Olympic Stadium, Riyadh Metro, Gippsland Line Upgrade, and Elizabeth Quay Pedestrian Bridge.
