I am a chartered geologist and a specialist in land condition. Working as part of the Civil and Highways Team in Arup’s Bristol and Winchester offices, I have 20 years’ experience in the contaminated land and geotechnical sectors. I have been responsible for running multi-project frameworks and managed teams delivering regionally significant flood alleviation and highway schemes in England such as the Southsea Coastal Defence Scheme and the A417 Missing Link in Gloucestershire.

I enjoy the dynamism of being part of large, multi-disciplinary teams, working with a variety of clients and regulatory bodies. Over the past five years, I have developed a more project-management-specific role, leading teams and taking responsibility for project and commercial management of multi-disciplinary, major highways projects from inception to completion including the A30 Environmental Designated Funds projects.

I have NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety and I am undertaking the Principal Designer and Safe by Design Advisor roles on current projects such as the A358 Taunton to Southfields. Previously, I was on the committee for the Western Regional Group and the Contaminated Land Group of the Geological Society.
