I lead the global planning business for Arup where our focus is to grow and expand the range of planning services we offer our clients, ensuring our experiences are shared and we continue to expand our knowledge through research and innovation. We work at the regional and national scale, helping to develop long term strategic plans; at the city scale, where we masterplan new urban districts; at the corridor level where we develop new propositions for transport corridors that unlock growth; and we work at a more local level through the planning of new developments and infrastructure including detailed site appraisals and consents.

I started my career at Arup as a graduate, then spent over 16 years working in a variety of roles in Transport for London where my last role was Managing Director of Planning for TfL before rejoining Arup in April 2016. I have been involved in the development of  many aspects of London’s transport network over the past 20 years and played a lead role in the development of planning and transport policy for London.

I am a qualified town planner and transport planner and bring over 25 years experience of all aspects of urban planning and transport planning.
