Associate – Transport Planning, Strategy and Policy

Robin brings experience of developing transport and place-based policies, strategies and business cases in the Middle East and the UK. Robin is passionate about understanding and presenting the strategic role that connectivity plays in shaping solutions across urban, suburban, and rural areas, including exploring innovative ways of appraisal to drive wider economic benefits and sustainable outcomes. 

Robin has worked on a range of complex transport business cases, plans, and strategies – with a focus on the Middle East. Some of his projects include: leading the development of the Abu Dhabi’s Bus Master Plan, establishing a plan for enhancing walkability across the Emirate of Dubai, and supporting sustainable transport solutions for major developments in Saudi Arabia and Ras Al-Khaimah, UAE. He has also led and contributed towards high profile projects across the UK, such as the Union Connectivity Review, the South Yorkshire Mass Transit Renewal Business Case, the Transport for the North’s Strategic Transport Plan, the Chester City Gateway Masterplan, and the business case for the revival of Manchester’s Castlefield Viaduct.  

Robin is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and a member of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT).
