Sarah Teliani is a project manager and civil engineer based in London.

Her main area of expertise is in the rail sector, and she currently works as part of a diverse collaborative team responsible for the successful delivery of large rail commissions for major clients, including Network Rail and High Speed 2. She has an interest in embedding sustainability in the design of major infrastructure projects, contributing to the decarbonisation of the construction industry and achieving net zero targets. Sarah has experience in railway bridge design and assessments, and has been involved in a number of technically complex multi-disciplinary railway projects across the UK.

She is passionate about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and creating an inclusive environment where everyone can feel respected, valued and thrive. She has led and supported a whole host of initiatives from talks to mentoring programmes to raise awareness on EDI issues, to encourage diverse thinking and to champion change across the sector.

In 2022, Sarah was recognised in the Women’s Engineering Society’s Top 50 Women in Engineering Awards.
