I am an architect with over 20 year's experience at Arup, qualifying from the Glasgow School of Art in 1996. I have a particular interest in the Education, Commercial and Science and Industry sectors.

I was the project architect for the internationally renowned Jaguar Land Rover Engine Manufacturing Centre and the award winning Druk White Lotus School in Ladakh, India. I am a passionate advocate for an architecture that grows from its setting and brief, and that sets new benchmarks for sustainable design.

I have been the lead masterplanner and architect for the Druk White Lotus School for the last 20 years. This charitable project is entirely passively ventilated and heated by the sun. Materials have been sourced locally and an architecture has been developed that responds to the local vernacular. This project is seen as an exemplar for school building across the Himalayan region and has been recognised in awards including the International Stone Architecture Award in 2013.

For the Jaguar Land Rover Manufacturing Centre, I acted as the lead coordinator with the Interserve delivery team. Arup delivered a design, working collaboratively with Jaguar Land Rover to a tight budget and programme. The people centred place is suffused with light and allows the innovative spirit of the company to be embodied in the Architecture. The project has recently received acclaim as Project of the Year at the Structural Steel Design Awards 2018.
