Sebastian Lee is the Maritime Business Leader for Singapore. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Singapore and Chartered Structural Engineer in the UK, with 18 years of experience working across cities such as Singapore and Sydney.

Sebastian focuses on sustainable development particularly in maritime and urban transport sectors. He has spearheaded engineering feasibility studies for an underground tunnel network for an autonomous freight mover system linking a mega port to industrial estates in Asia and the protection of the Sentosa coast. He has also supported both public and private sector clients in notable maritime projects from concept design to construction; these include the Ready-Mixed Concrete Ecosystem at Jurong Port, Offshore Marine Centre 2, Seraya Ferry Terminal, PCG Gul Base Seawall and the quay-edge structures along the Singapore Sports Hub. In addition, he has delivered projects involving low-carbon urban transport systems, such as Woodlands Interchange Station and Marine Terrace Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line and rejuvenation of Empress Place and Esplanade Park to improve the walkability of the civic district.

Sebastian is a member of the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS). He is also a registered Structural Steel Supervisor and Structural Steel Engineer with the SSSS and accredited as an ABC Water Professional by the IES.

Sebastian was a recipient of the ACES Young Engineers Award in Singapore – recognised among his peers for his positive contributions to the professional community, engineering excellence, and boundary-pushing innovations proposed in his design engineering work.
