Shannon is a data analyst in Arup’s San Francisco office. With a background in industrial engineering, she has the skillset to optimize systems and automate processes in a wide range of settings — from transportation planning to energy analysis.

Leveraging her coding experience, Shannon consistently pursues digital and automated solutions to support decision making. Since joining Arup in 2020, she has successfully built web applications and tools that encourage data-driven insights within the local context. One such application is the Equity Explorer, a tool for delivering equity in transportation planning. Notably, Shannon worked as the developer for Charge4Fleets™, a streamlined digital solution for vehicle fleet electrification. This suite of tools was recently leveraged to analyze Marin Transit’s bus fleet to ease their future transition to all-electric.
