A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ specialist experience leading and managing teams of engineers and project managers on large diverse capital expenditure infrastructure portfolios, operations and asset management.

Prior to joining Arup, I was a Route Asset Manager for eight years, adding value by problem solving to produce efficient and effective asset management whilst mitigating risk allowing the operational railway to remain unaffected. As a specialist in the rail industry, I have extensive client-side experience, providing valuable insights into their particular challenges and common themes affecting our clients. 

I am a strategic thinker and use this skill to identify and create solutions and best practice. Logical and analytical in my approach to solving complex problems and issues, I have worked with Network Rail, London Underground and Highways Agency to develop solutions that drive real beneficial, innovative and sustainable change.
