Building on his strong technical background and diverse global experience, Stefan focuses on developing solutions that mitigate climate change impacts and deliver sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities in which we work.

A mechanical engineer and collaborative leader with more than 20 years’ cross-industry experience around the world, Stefan has worked on the diverse building, industrial and infrastructure projects in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and Australasia. 

Stefan focuses on three key areas: decarbonisation, energy transition and climate services, passionate about developing innovative design solutions to complex engineering problems.

Working collaboratively with our clients and teams throughout Australasia, Stefan helps our clients better understand climate change impacts, technical and commercial strategies to address them, and enduring, sustainable outcomes that help mitigate them.

In doing so, Stefan and the science industry and technology team deliver sustainable project solutions that optimise the operation and longevity of our clients’ businesses while ensuring we leave a positive legacy.

A Chartered Professional Engineer, Stefan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (mechanical), and a Master of Science (applied mathematics). He is an Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and member of Engineers Australia. In 2000, Stefan received the Arup National Fellowship award.
