Terri Wills
Urban Strategy Leader
I am the Urban Strategy Leader for Arup, focusing on delivering social, economic and environmental impact through urban policy, programmes and projects. I advise clients on areas such as social value, net zero delivery and just transition, and urban powers.
I have worked extensively in cities, climate change, social impact and economic development, and was previously the CEO of the World Green Building Council, Director for Global Initiatives with C40 Cities, an advisor on creative industry policy to the Ontario Government, and Head of Strategy for Factual and Learning at the BBC.
At World GBC, I spearheaded a global shift to net zero carbon buildings through the green building councils network, resulting in new net zero building standards and corporate commitments. I also led the development of the city-to-city network model for C40 Cities which has resulted in numerous cities adopting new and improved climate policies.
