I am an Associate in Arup’s International Development team working with development and humanitarian organisations to make the built environment safer, more resilient and more sustainable for the communities it serves.

I advise partners across the project cycle from stakeholder engagement, planning, design and construction through to evaluation with key technical interests including improved vernacular construction and technical capacity building. I have experience working on education, health and housing projects, looking for the wider societal outcomes that each project can deliver.

I have worked in over 20 countries around the world and spent over two years in Rwanda, Ghana and South Africa, with current projects including the engineering design of a 21,000m² world class Agricultural Institute to be constructed entirely from earth and timber in Rwanda.
