William O’Keeffe has over 19 years’ experience in managing health and safety within the water/wastewater, energy, civil engineering, construction, pharmaceutical and process industries. He previously headed up the Health and Safety department of one of Europe’s largest civil engineering companies, with responsibilities in the UK, Ireland and Australia, employing over 5,000 direct staff with 65 full-time Health and Safety Advisors.

William has an in-depth knowledge of legislation, best practice and practical applications relating to health and safety in Ireland and the UK. He has provided health and safety training on over 22 different programmes to thousands of students over the past ten years. He has several years’ experience leading audit teams in the construction, manufacturing, offshore and leisure industries.
