Five minute guide to Energy in Cities

Our ‘Energy in Cities’ five minute guide responds to changes in energy generation, distribution and consumption in the context of cities and their importance in addressing global energy challenges.

It provides an overview of the key systems and technologies that can be used to reduce energy demand, enhance efficiency of supply and increase use of low carbon and renewable energy. It also highlights the important role that cities play in delivering action and acting as catalysts for change.

'Energy in Cities' is the result of collaboration amongst a range of Arup experts working across energy policy, strategy, funding and technical project delivery.
