COP26 carbon management plan: PAS 2060 qualifying explanatory statement

As the host country for COP26, the UK was required to deliver a climate neutral conference by the UNFCCC. A broader commitment by the UK Government has meant that a significantly larger set of emissions have been included in the Carbon Management Plan for the event, covering activities related to the main conference venue, the Blue Zone, as well as the Green Zone.

This PAS2060: Qualifying Explanatory Statement was developed to provide final reporting on the carbon management process for COP26, which was delivered by the COP26 Delivery Unit.

This report contains all the relevant documentation to support HMG’s declaration of commitment to, and achievement of, carbon neutrality as defined in PAS 2060, externally assured by Arup.
