Ireland gender pay gap report 2022

Ireland Gender Pay Gap Report 2022

The gender pay gap is the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across a workforce. In accordance with the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, organisations with more than 250 employees are required to publish information on gender pay gaps.

At Arup in Ireland, we have prepared this report based on the period from 30 June 2021 to 30 June 2022. Our gender pay gap is driven by the fact that we have a significantly higher proportion of men than women across our firm, particularly in leadership grades where pay is higher. The report provides the calculated gap numbers and the steps we are taking to address female underrepresentation, which is prevalent across our industry.
