We’ve declared a Climate Emergency... what next?

The New Zealand Government has  declared a climate emergency, acknowledging that it needs to act on the causes and impacts of climate change. This is a major leap forward; political commitment is often the hardest part.

There is a clear urgency to act, but steady, considered action is better than rushing into a piecemeal approach. Less haste, more speed!

We want to see the momentum continue, and we understand how overwhelming it can feel to take the next steps. But we’re also optimistic. This short guide is intended to help break down the challenge, based on our experience of helping government agencies around the world to develop and deliver effective climate action plans for their organisations, activities and programs.
