- We’ve painstakingly tunneled under the iconic Sydney Opera House to allow the world-famous venue to better accommodate 8.2 million visitors every year and 1,000 vehicles per week – all without affecting the performance schedule.
- In China, Arup engineered the country’s second stock exchange building in Shenzhen, with a dramatic cantilevered podium 37 metres high.
- Our design and build of the spectacular 1,000 person capacity Vegas High Roller has brought the world’s tallest observation wheel to fruition.
- The Reid Building, the latest addition to Glasgow School of Art, provides a “complementary contrast” to the neighbouring Rennie Mackintosh Building, one of Scotland’s most cherished architectural icons.

This edition was edited by David Brown, who is now setting down his pen after 26 years as editor and a previous 20 year assistant editorship. We wish him a fond farewell.
