Multipurpose design

Designed to operate in a wide range of modes, the engineering allows the operator the flexibility to accommodate different configurations of spectators and events, from rock concerts and shows through sports ranging from handball to ice hockey.

Arup assisted in the development of the initial venue proposals as part of the feasibility and financing stage, and was also responsible for several elements of the schemes including structural and civil engineering as well as involving input from our sports architecture experts.

ArupĀ“s specialist venues team developed the facilities requirements and delivered multidisciplinary engineering excellence to create an arena which will enhance the cultural richness of Copenhagen.
