International Trade and Commerce Centre, Chongqing

The tallest building in West China upon completion.

International Trade and Commerce Centre is situated on the eastern part of Chongqing Tiandi (China) boasting spectacular views of the Jialing River.

The mixed-use development houses three towers and a retail podium with grade-A offices, a five-star hotel and luxury apartments over a gross floor area of 686,420m2. The tallest tower will rise to 468m, becoming the tallest building in West China.

The architectural design of the towers is inspired by the shape of sails on traditional Chinese sailing boats, celebrating the strong navigation and trading history of Chongqing.

Arup's structural, geotechnical, MEP, fire engineeringbuilding physics and acoustic teams are working together to deliver a truly sustainable building.
