This sustainable masterplan for a 9 hectares site is located in Rovereto, Northern Italy and has been commissioned by Trentino Sviluppo – Trento’s Development Agency.
The client approached Arup to develop a masterplan for a clean technology cluster to host companies related to clean technologies for the built environment.
The project includes a series of listed building from the 1850’s and new building which the masterplan is carefully considering.
Arup as lead consultant is developing the sustainable masterplan, as well as energy, transport and infrastructure strategies, which include carbon and cost benefit analysis.
Arup is working with Kengo Kuma architects and Carlo Ratti Architects, forming together a strong team to deliver an ambitious clean tech park in a beautiful natural and historic context.
