One Campus by Procter & Gamble, Schwalbach

Project management for a new Campus development

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is a US-American multinational consumer goods company represented in 70 countries and headquartered in Cincinnati.

To make use of synergies and combine forces in the best possible way, several of Procter & Gamble’s research and administration facilities have now been brought together at their headquarters in Schwalbach. The scope of the project included a new laboratory building, and the conversion and modernisation of the existing facility under normal operating conditions with the aim of optimising the use of the available space and the workplace environment.

As the client’s agent, we took charge of project management, planning coordination and cost and schedule control. We worked to implement Procter & Gamble’s international design and action guidelines in such a way that they complied with German law and German DIN standards. It was therefore necessary to adapt the five-year project sequence to the needs of the company, which was involved in a change management process.

Other challenges included extensive multiple stakeholder management and the implementation of numerous global requirements.

Our close collaboration with the client and efficient knowledge transfer ensured the success of the project and adherence to budget and schedule targets, in spite of complex planning requirements and high quality demands.
