Qinhuai River, a branch of Yangtze River running through the Nanjing city, carries China’s historical memories of commercial prosperities and romantic stories.
Our planning and design team is now helping revitalise a 600m long section of its west riverfront, aiming to bring back the memories of ancient, vibrant waterfront experiences.
We delivered a package of conceptual landscape design supported by planning and traffic strategies.

Emphasis has been given to establishing connections from surrounding areas and developing terraced landscape connecting various levels to the riverfront walk.
We also proposed ecologically sensitive water features, allowing people to interact with water and, at the same time, highlighting the importance of water cleaning processes.
