This issue of the Arup Journal includes a number of articles look at our work with UK universities.
We look at the design and construction of Sheffield University Concourse, and separately, we explore Arup Associates' design for university residences at Somerville, Oxford and Leckhampton & Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
In other articles, we look at Preston Bus Station and carpark, which is integrated with the new road system of central Preston and will accommodate more buses than the total using the conglomeration of small congested stations of the separate companies operating at present. In addition, we look at The Island Site – an octagonal office building in Croydon.
