The Pearls, Umhlanga, Durban

Luxury apartment complex comprising three high-rise towers.

This residential landmark, offering exclusive living with unrestricted ocean views, has been individually and uniquely developed.

The R1.6bn development consists of five phases of apartment complexes along the Indian Ocean beachfront, just 8km from Durban's Central Business District. Residents are also able to enjoy a fully-equipped health spa and retail boulevard.

The heart of the complex consists of three high-rise towers of 28, 32 and 39 storeys with identical glazing between slabs at each floor.

‘Pearl Tides’ is the premier complex, made up of two adjacent low-rise cabana developments. This phase is closest to the coastline and offers superb views. ‘Pearl Reef’, previously a 50-unit apartment complex, underwent internal renovations to converting the accommodation into 22 luxury units.

‘Pearl Breeze’ has 96 units and ‘Pearl Dawn’ 120 units. These two adjacent towers are almost identical.

The fifth phase, ‘Pearl Sky‘, is subject to additional bulk rights applications and will have 177 units on completion – making it the highest structure in the development.
