How do you partner to leave a legacy?
This year the Sydney Opera House turns 50, and during this time many partners have helped create its legacy, including Arup, which has been there since the building’s very start. In this podcast episode, Dr Michelle Dickinson is joined by Louise Herron, Sydney Opera House CEO and Tristram Carfrae, our Global Deputy Chair. Together they explore how create and maintain a legacy like the Sydney Opera House – one of the world’s most iconic buildings.
“When you have a really strong vision, and you have the commitment and the backing of a vast array of stakeholders you actually can achieve what you set out to do. ”
Louise Herron CEO, Sydney Opera House
“To form a partnership, you need to have trust and that trust comes from having a relationship and a common goal, inspiring each other pushing everybody forward and it’s amazing maybe you can create another Opera House. ”
Tristram Carfrae Deputy Chair
