Arup wins Infrastructure Technical Adviser of Year

Arup has taken home the Infrastructure Technical Adviser of the Year Award at the 2014 Infrastructure Journal (IJ) Awards.

The prestigious ceremony was held at the Natural History Museum, London, and was attended by over 500 leading names in the global infrastructure investment industry.

The award is given to technical advisors working on the year's most outstanding infrastructure and/or project finance transactions and recognises Arup’s capability as a technical advisor in the transport, water, waste and social infrastructure sectors.

Arup had a fantastic year in 2013, advising on ten transport and several major social infrastructure projects which reached financial close across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. As well as being named Infrastructure Technical Advisor of the Year, three of Arup’s projects were also recognised with awards. Goethals Bridge Replacement in New York won Transport Deal of the Year; Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets’ acquisition of a stake in Smetana Holding secured the Energy & Natural Resources Acquisition of the Year; and London Array Offshore Wind Farm won the Renewables Deal of the Year.

Now in its fourteenth year, the IJ Awards celebrate the best global deals in energy and infrastructure, rewarding innovation, quality and diversity.
