Arup’s Dallas office was established in 2016 with a focus on delivery of transportation solutions, including high speed rail, transit infrastructure, and facilities. Since then, our offering has expanded to include general civil infrastructure engineering services; structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services; technical services including lighting, sustainability, and façades consulting; and integrated planning consulting. Dallas was the second Arup office opened in the state of Texas and is the hub for our service offerings in North Texas.

The transportation team has worked on several significant rail and aviation projects, including serving as the Owner’s Engineer for the Texas Central High Speed Train between Dallas and Houston as well as lead engineer for the new DFW Airport Terminal D Extension.

The Dallas office has vast experience in multidisciplinary engineering and consulting projects across the DFW area. We have contributed to healthcare, science & technology, and property projects, as well as arts and culture projects such as the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, Meyerson Symphony Hall, and renovation projects at both the Amon Carter Museum of American Art and the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth.

Our consulting specialists have a long history of data center and fire life safety services for the North Texas region, enabling our clients to deliver a wide variety of data centers, corporate, and industrial facilities. Together with Arup’s Houston and Austin offices, the Dallas office is helping to shape the future of Texas’ built environment.
