Daniel is passionate about water and energy and delivering positive social, environmental and economic outcomes for communities. He enjoys partnering to deliver strategic, solutions and community-based outcomes in the water, environmental and infrastructure space.

These solutions focus on enabling clients to understand and value consumers, manage and mitigate their risks and identify innovative solutions and realise opportunities to capture program savings and lower lifecycle costs. Importantly this is undertaken with a focus on realising social and environmental outcomes.

Daniel has successfully delivered projects in Australia, New Zealand, Asia (Singapore, China, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka), the Pacific Islands, South America and Africa. He is passionate about utilising his experience to drive positive change in the water sector in both developed and developing countries and communities. The reason he works in water and sanitation is because he has experienced the life changing impact it has on families and communities.

Daniel is recognised as a thought leader in the industry and has been a keynote speaker at conferences and industry events throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. Daniel was recognised by Engineers Australia as ‘Professional Engineer of the Year 2020’, one of Australia's 'Most Innovative Engineers' and by the Australian Water Association (AWA) as the NSW Water Professional of the Year.

He is very active in championing the impact of water and young professionals through his mentoring roles (through AWA and Water Services Association of Australia programmes), RedR, WaterAid and Engineers without Borders. This is complimented by his strategic support to the industry on the IWA Strategic Advisory Council, AWP Expert Advisory Panel and the AWA PPP Expert Advisory Committee.
