Deanna Schmidt is Arup’s New Jersey Office Leader and an Associate Principal with expertise in electrical distribution and fire alarm design.

Throughout her career, Deanna has led diverse, collaborative teams to deliver highly complex building systems, providing strategic and technical services to maximize sustainable outcomes for clients. Her experience includes development of resilient electrification solutions and leveraging data for strategic energy planning. Her collaborative works with universities include Brown University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College and Princeton University, including the Princeton Neuroscience Institute and the Lewis Center for the Arts.
