James Finestone is a Director in our UKIMEA Architecture team, providing high-quality, sustainable design solutions to clients in the Science & Industry, Sports, Transport & Infrastructure and Commercial sectors.
 
As a Director specialised in integrated design, James has led complex multidisciplinary building and masterplanning projects across the world.
 
Recent work includes the concept design for Italian football club AC Fiorentina’s new stadium in Florence, as well as Jaguar Land Rover’s new, award-winning Manufacturing Centre in the UK.
 
He has also worked on global aviation projects and large-scale infrastructure projects including HS2 in the UK and Denmark’s Roskilde Fjord Crossing.
 
His previous work includes 15 years at leading architectural firm Richard Rogers Partnership, after which he founded his own firm – FLACQ Architects - in 2005.
 
He has lectured widely at universities including Bath, University College London, Venice’s IUAV and the Norwegian Association of Architects, Oslo.
