Lara is the Future Transport Technology Lead in the Transport Policy, Strategy, and Economics team in the Arup London office. She is a chartered civil engineer (MICE) and a Fellow of the RSA with over 12 years’ experience in major transport projects. Her current focus in on Future Mobility, including Connected and Automated Mobility and Mobility Hubs.

She has experience in technical design roles as well as project and interface management roles, in the UK, and abroad and at multiple project stages from creation to feasibility and delivery. She uses her strong communication skills to drive collaboration in multidisciplinary teams to produce optimal integrated solutions.

Lara is a driven technical integrator who embraces challenges with a strategic mind and positive energy to successfully deliver holistic and outcome centred solutions. She is often called upon to synthetise complex situations, create cohesive environments, and articulate or respond to our clients’ visions and ambitions.

Lara has been the Hyperloop Global Coordinator for Arup since 2017.
