Lee-Zane is a Director based in Arup's Durban office. In his role as Property, Science, Industry and Technology Lead for South Africa, he is responsible for the procurement, management, and delivery of a variety of complex projects throughout Africa, India and the Middle East.

Lee-Zane is inspired by Africa and the opportunities and challenges it represents. He strives to combine sustainability and adaptability in every design to preserve the local area’s cultural heritage while addressing climate change. 

Through this work, Lee-Zane has gained deep experience in structural and civil engineering across different industries such as property, technology, and aviation. He has been involved in a host of major projects, including Heathrow Terminal 5 in London and the PWC Tower at Waterfall Estate in South Africa.

Lee-Zane is member of the South African Property Owners Association and the Green Buildings Council SA.
