Global Water Research Review 2018-19

As the global population increases, our demand for water intensifies pressure on finite water resources. By 2050, the global demand for water will increase by 55%, whilst half of the population will live in water scarce regions. Our most precious resource is at significant risk and we must act now.

At Arup, our applied research programme explores water management across the whole water cycle. From Machine Learning assisted flood modelling to working with partners to better understand water resilience in cities, we are continuously broadening our expertise and collaborating with academia, industry and NGOs to improve water usage and management across the world.
