Developing and investing in Montenegro's main port

Operating since 1909, the Port of Bar is Montenegro's main sea port. In 2013, Global Ports Holding was awarded the concession agreement for 30 years on the port. The agreement includes repairing, financing, operating and maintaining the container terminal and cargo terminal.

Our support to the project includes the provision of environmental and social due diligence to Global Ports Holding, the beneficiary of the investment.

The due diligence includes an appraisal of the client and the proposed Capex projects, with reference to whether the company and projects comply with the requirements and standards of the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) and the IFC (International Finance Corporation).
