Arup celebrates ten strong years in Chicago

Established in 2004, Arup’s Chicago office continues to provide a wide range of engineering and consulting services for the built environment.

A ten-year anniversary celebration was held for clients, colleagues, and staff on 10 September at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, a Chicago institution and recently completed Arup project.

As we look to our past and future in Chicago, Arup is proud of our contribution to the rich fabric of the city and our role in teaming with local architects to deliver design globally. Chicago’s architectural heritage is recognized worldwide and Arup is pleased to play a role in the future of this great city. Adding to its growing legacy of projects in the area, our recent and current projects include the Poetry Foundation Headquarters, the Art Institute of Chicago Modern Wing, the University of Illinois at Chicago Lecture Hall, the Earl Shapiro Hall at the University of Chicago Laboratory, and the Bloomingdale Trail. 

Arup’s award-winning work is integrated with some of the industry’s most renowned architects, creating meaningful projects that enhance daily life for Chicago’s residents, students, and guests.
