Arup named one of Taiwan’s top 10 enterprises

Arup received the 15th Golden Peak Award for being one of the top 10 outstanding enterprises in Taiwan in the civil/construction sector.

Arup Director in charge of Taiwan business, Dr. Luo MingChun, attended the award ceremony and received the trophy from the Vice President of Taiwan, Wu Den-yih.

Organised by the Outstanding Enterprise Manager Association, Golden Peak is Taiwan’s most prestigious award for enterprises. Other winners this year included TUV, Cathay Bank and New Asia Development Group.

It is a great honour to receive this award as a clear recognition of our leading design and engineering services in Taiwan. It will further encourage us to translate global expertise into local context and drive Taiwan’s low-carbon economy. ”

Arup has over 20 years of experience in Taiwan, and in 2011 we formally established an office in Taipei given our extended portfolio of projects in the region.

 

We are currently working on a wide range of high profile projects in Taiwan, integrating sustainability into design. These include Taoyuan Aerotropolis, Taipei Performing Arts CentreKaohsiung Port Terminal and Cruise Service Centre and Taiwan Tower.
