Dr Jing Zhang leads structural analysis for projects in the Australasia region and has expertise in analysis/design/review of various structures, particularly high rise, seismic and lateral system design.

With 30 years of structural engineering experience across Australia, Southeast Asia and China, Dr Zhang has strong capability in structural modelling/analysis/design of various challenging structure forms, for new construction projects and assessment of existing structures. 

She specialises in structural analysis and design, in particularly dynamic analysis/seismic design, optimisation of lateral structural system and automated design of vertical structures, high-rise building related issues.

Dr Zhang is the Seismic Skills Leader for the region and conducts internal training on modelling/analysis techniques and reviews regional and global projects. 

She has been the lead structural engineer, or project reviewer, for a variety of high-profile complex projects and has reviewed 80+ structural models/analysis/schemes for projects in the Australasia region. Notable projects include Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort Singapore, South Beach Singapore, 111 Eagle Street Brisbane, Quay Quarter Tower Sydney and Optus Stadium Perth.
