Dr. Markus Gabler leads the Bridge Design team at Arup in Germany.

He is an expert in the design of large bridges and complex structures. As project manager he was responsible for the realization of innovative and international construction projects, including the pre-fabricated bridge in Werne and the Mühlendamm bridge in Berlin.

In the past 20 years, Markus Gabler has planned bridges in the USA, Canada and Germany in a leading position. He studied and earned his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart, where he also developed new bridge systems made of fibre composites.
