Arup has been presented with the title ‘Consultant of the Decade’ at the NCE/ACE Consultants of the Decade Awards.

This extra special ceremony coincides with the tenth anniversary of NCE and the Association for Consultancy and Engineering's premier awards for business performance. It recognises firms and individuals that have ridden the ups and downs of the last decade, and have helped to progress the field of engineering. The awards were first run in March 2003 and are now a mainstay of the industry calendar.

The judging panel consisted of ACE chief executive Nelson Ogunshakin, FIDIC president Geoff French and NCE editor Antony Oliver.

This award recognises the hard work and innovation put in by Arup’s people and partners over the last decade on a wide range of projects. We look forward to the next ten years and the exciting opportunities for consultants, which we hope will be further boosted with the realisation of the government plans for infrastructure. ” Duncan Wilkinson, Arup

A full review of the awards and the winners will appear in NCE on 3 October.
