Arup’s heritage experts are working with David Chipperfield Architects to improve the quality and performance of the Procuratie Vecchie, an historic neo-classical building that is being renovated on one edge of the world-famous Piazza San Marco in Venice.

This 500-year landmark will be transformed into a venue of art exhibitions and seminars and the new home of “The Human Safety Net” – a philanthropic institution powered by the insurance group Generali to help some of the most vulnerable communities around the world.
