Construction launch for the new Chiesi farmaceutici headquarters

The groundbreaking ceremony held by the Chiesi family, the Mayor of Parma and a group of employees officially marks the commencement of the construction of the new headquarters for Chiesi Group, in Parma. Arup is providing engineering, procurement and constructions management services for this multinational pharmaceutical company. 

The future head office, which will be developed on an area of 46,300m2, will host the executive offices for 540 employees. Construction is expected to be completed by 2020.

Arup was appointed by Chiesi Farmaceutici to provide multidisciplinary services such as architecture, civil structural, mechanical, electrical, facade, acoustic, vertical transportation, energy-sustainability, as well as procurement and project and construction management.
