Elodie Huet, an Assistant Business Continuity Consultant based in our London office, won the award for Business Continuity Newcomer of the Year at this year’s Continuity, Insurance and Risk (CIR) Magazine Awards.

The awards are designed to recognise and honour individuals that have exhibited outstanding quality of work, ingenuity and originality. Elodie impressed the judges with her innovative study exploring the effect of culture on people’s risk perceptions.

After pursuing a Masters in Risk, Disaster and Resilience at University College London, Elodie started her role as a Business Continuity Consultant within our Resilience, Security and Risk team nine months ago.

This is an outstanding achievement for Elodie. Having only been at Arup for nine months she has already made a big impact, reviewing Arup’s business continuity processes and building relationships with our key clients. Elodie’s drive and enthusiasm means she has an extremely exciting future ahead of her. With business continuity becoming ever more prevalent, Elodie’s work reflects a core part of our future plans for our Resilience, Security & Risk business.
