Arup ranked amongst top companies in Australia for CSR

For the fourth consecutive year, Arup has been ranked amongst the top Australian organisations for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Joining other major companies including ABC, BHP Billiton and Mission Australia, Arup was recognised for continual leadership in the area of corporate social responsibility, by Australia’s peak body for CSR, Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ACCSR).

The State of CSR in Australia is one of the largest ongoing research projects on CSR in the world and the biggest ongoing survey of CSR practice and performance in Australia.

Since 2007, the Review has examined different aspects of CSR in Australia. This year, it focused on leadership in CSR. When asked how companies displayed CSR leadership, respondents cited examples of bold, visionary sustainability actions, programs, targets and initiatives from large-sized and prominent companies like Marks & Spencer, Westpac, Rio Tinto, NAB and Unilever.
