ProRail announced that they have recognised Arup as designer and advisor for rail projects as of today. Arup is now certified for the categories rail carrying and non-rail carrying civil structures and utility structures.

With the previous certificate for integrated contracts, Arup has already started to work for the Dutch civil rail business. Example projects are the public transport terminal of Zuidasdok and the back-office of the Tunnelalliance. With this new full certification, we are now able to extend our rail activities to projects in direct partnership with ProRail.
