Federico Torres Jimenez

Principal, Americas South Leader

Federico Torres Jimenez is Arup’s Americas South Leader and a Principal. He has led projects in several businesses and services working with the public and private sectors, including key managerial and consultancy positions in the United Kingdom and Latin America. Federico joined the firm in 2014 and led the opening of Arup's Bogotá office, establishing Arup as an active player in the Colombian infrastructure market. Federico has led the economic appraisal, financial modelling, and engineering designs for over 45 projects, including high-profile projects in Colombia, such as Bogotá’s Metro land value capture study, Medellin’s 80th Ave Light Rail Project, and the e-mobility strategy for three cities in Colombia. 
 
The South region includes the firm's offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and Bogotá.
