I am a senior urban designer based in Arup’s Hong Kong office, with extensive work experience across Asia. With my background in architecture and urban design my skills range from territorial master planning to intimate streetscape and building design as well as placemaking strategies. Being able to think both conceptually and pragmatic, I develop complex and comprehensive strategies and translate these into understandable and feasible design solutions throughout various scales.

Through my role as East Asia’s Sustainable Development manager, I drive Arup’s sustainable development agenda across the region. I am a passionate advocate for embedding this thinking in everything we do and am an expert in activating stakeholders to optimise social, environmental, and economic outcomes for any type of project. I continuously inspire colleagues and clients to collaborate and jointly make a positive difference though the delivery of high-quality projects, yet also through publications, educational campaigns and professional events.

Combining my two roles, I am an expert in developing locally inspired urban design that result into public spaces that bring people together and that enhance the places where people work, live and play. With my human-centric approach, my designs emphasise walkability, sense of place, community creation and integration with nature.
