Rachel is a transport planner based in Arup’s Manchester office. She has extensive experience in development planning and has a passion for accessibility and sustainability, enabling her to adopt a creative approach to developing sustainable transport solutions.

She has a keen interest in active travel, and particularly pedestrian planning. She is leading a walkability study in Manchester to review walking routes and identify a prioritised schedule of small-scale interventions in the city centre.

Rachel endeavours to create unique, functional spaces that have a positive impact on people’s experience and perception. Prior to joining Arup, she gained a wealth of experience in development planning and masterplanning at other transport consultancies.
