Rubina Ramponi is a Senior Engineer in Dublin. She has worked in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe and has experience in microclimate design and wind engineering.

Rubina joined Arup in 2013 after completing a PhD on the computational modelling of urban wind flow and natural ventilation in buildings. She is passionate about integrating advanced microclimate modelling techniques to inform the design of comfortable and liveable outdoor spaces and supports design teams to reduce the impact of wind on pedestrian comfort and wind loading using computational fluid dynamic simulations and wind tunnel testing.

Rubina has additional experience in environmental and building physics projects, such as the evaluation of risk of reflected solar heat and glare. Significant projects include the Irfan Masterplan, UCD Science Centre and Downtown Providence.
