Brian Markham is Arup’s Seattle Office Leader and an Associate Principal with expertise in delivering efficient and elegant design for technically and geometrically complex buildings.

Since joining Arup in 2000, Brian has been a key member of many multidisciplinary projects, serving as an integral leader of the collaborative team process from the early stages of design through construction. Brian has served as the Project Director on the Century Project Space Needle Renovation, the modular CitizenM hotel in South Lake Union, and the flexible gallery of Arts at King Street Station in Seattle, amongst others. He has a broad range of project management and structural engineering successes on sophisticated building projects around the world ranging from art and art museums to airports and performing arts centers.
